"I am a senior at Edison Tech High Shool. I am currently enrolled in The AP English class at my school. In this class I have learned how to pay attention to detail and how to dissect poetry and to find the meaning behind the author's ideas. I can openly admit that this year hasn't been fun all the time, but it has been a very good learning experience, in which doen the road you do acquire better skills in AP Englsih."
Previous accomplishments & Plans after graduation:
" As far as school is concerned, I have always been either on honor roll or occasionally high honor roll. I do take alot of pride in my grades, so when that report card comes home I'm always eager to see how I did. Ever since my freshman year I have been recognized as a black scholar, as well as an Ibero scholar. After highschool I am going to be attending a junior college , then moving onto a large University in Minnesota. My plans are to major in social work. Many people ask me about majoring in social work. I just think that I would like to help children out in their lives, and help them feel more secure with themselves."

Accomplishments & Future plans:
" I was selected for entry to the AP class at the end of my junior year. Since my freshman year, I have been in either Regents or Honors English classes. I have also received various honors and awards, including honor roll, Urban League Black Scholar, and the Prudential Spirit of the Community Award. Following my graduation in June of 2002, I plan to attend Stonybrook University of New York with a major of psychology. The skills and knowledge I have acquired from my time in the Edison AP course will be an asset to me as I further my education."

As you have probably figured out on your own I am a senior at this High School they call Edison. When I first came to this school I said to myself, " what the hell have you gotten yourself into?" I replied to myself, " I don't know but I'm the only person in all my classes that doesn't mind doing work."
But as the years went on and I became more fond of the school,(as it became more fond of me) I learned that getting a decent education was not hard at all. All you had to do was go to class, pay attention, do some homework, I stress some very lightly, and pass your tests. Pretty simple job huh? Well it worked out for me pretty nice, I am the # 24 senior at Edison out of a graduating class of about 110. Not too shabby if you ask me.
The reason for my joining the ranks of this exquisite class was quite simple, I have a thing for English, and my grades showed this, and I was recommended to move to an advanced placement course for my senior year. Although I procrastinated for a while, I finally said what the heck and went on with this wagon of fun.
It turns out that the man behind the madness of this website is none other than yours truly. Strange isn't it how I come up with all these cool things. I made the suggestion to my teacher, The Wonderful and Extravagant Mrs. Amy Prok, (a round of applause). I brought it to her attention because she had come to a dead end for a final project. I suggest one thing and look where we are today.
Please keep up with our site. I will be departing July 22, 2002 for Sandiego, California to join my brothers in the ranks of the world's finest armed force, (The United Stated Marine Corps). Wish me luck, and good luck to those who dare challenge this class.
